Wild Things Farm Holds First Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Pocola, OK (April 4, 2011) Wild Things Farm of Pocola, OK, will be holding their First Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 23, 2011. The hunt is open to children ages 10 and under. Hunts will take place at 10am and 2pm, and cost just $9.00 per session.
Activities included with admission are pony rides (one per child, per session - additional rides may be purchased), a visit with the Easter Bunny and decorating their own Easter cookie. The farm will also have a bounce around, a baby animal petting zoo, clowns, face painting, balloon artists, children's activities and much more. Fresh strawberries will also be available for picking.

Wild Things Farm has fresh, farm grown strawberries, vegetables, fruits, flowers, and herbs. It has been owned since 2000 by Jim and Cathie Greene and their family, and is open to the public from mid-April through October. Annual events include the Spring Festival, a Children’s Fishing Tournament, a week-long Summer Day Camp, Hay Rides, a Petting Zoo, a Fall Corn Maze and Night Maze, and a Pumpkin Patch. Seasonal fruits and vegetables are available for purchase throughout the summer months. Individuals can also join the farm’s CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Program during mid-winter, for delivery of products during the farm’s harvests They also offer tours of the farm for groups such as schools, churches and scout groups, and can hold birthday parties, corporate picnics and meetings in their open air pavilion, or in their new enclosed meeting facility and party pavilions. Evening campfires are also available.
