|Allan Houser at the Capitol: A Legacy in Bronze

|In a statewide celebration of the centennial of the birth of famous Chiricahua Apache artist Allan Houser, special exhibits will be on display at the Oklahoma State Capitol throughout 2014. This renowned Oklahoma artist had a huge impact on Native American art as a form of expression. Through December 15, visitors to the Capitol will have the opportunity to view five temporary, large-scale bronze sculptures created by Houser in addition to his permanent work of art, As Long as the Waters Flow. Sculptures will occupy space at the west entrance, east entrance and north plaza.
