The city of Muskogee brings Honor Heights Park alive with color each December during the annual Garden of Lights celebration.  More than one million shimmering lights recreate the beauty of the park's spring azaleas during the holiday season.

The Illinois River near Tahlequah is an easy flowing river with delightful scenery and several stretches of mild rapids for float trips.  Several outfitters offer canoe and raft trips on this stretch of the river.
Floaters can enjoy 40 miles of interesting and sometimes challenging floating on the Illinois River in northeastern Oklahoma near Tahlequah.  This scenic area offers plenty of campgrounds, canoe and raft outfitters and great fishing.

A swinging bridge helps hikers across a creek on the Ankle Express hiking trail at Greenleaf State Park in northeastern Oklahoma.
The grounds of Woolaroc in Bartlesville serve as a wildlife refuge where domestic and exotic animals roam freely.
Woolaroc combines a wildlife refuge, an oilman's hunting lodge and a world-class museum.  The museum complex contains one of the best collections of Western and American Indian art anywhere.
The Philbrook Museum of Art in Tulsa, an Italian villa that was once the home of oilman Waite Phillips, features paintings and sculpture from around the globe.
The towering pines of Cherokee Landing State Park provide shade and lend natural beauty to the campgrounds.  Cherokee Landing State Park is located in Park Hill just south of Tahlequah on Lake Tenkiller.
The annual OK Mozart Festival draws 20,000 visitors to Bartlesville to enjoy nine days of classical music as well as chamber music, jazz, pops and Broadway show tunes performed by masters from around the world.
Cafe Ole in Tulsa's popular Brookside District serves fine Southwest cuisine in a casual, comfortable setting. The food is handmade daily.
An historic picnic pavilion built by the Civilian Conservation Corps during the 1930s still accommodates family picnics at the Dripping Springs Recreation Area in Okmulgee.
The Sequoyah State Park Golf Course is a Floyd Farley designed 18-hole, par 70, 5,860 yd golf course with Bermuda grass greens, tees and fairways, well-placed sand bunkers and lake views.
