Great Salt Plains State Park near Jet offers an amazing diversity of nature ranging from a brackish water lake to barren salt plains.  The lake offers boating and fishing and the adjacent state park allows digging for selenite crystals.
An authentic stagecoach stands on the grounds of the Hitching Post Ranch in Kenton.  Guests can stay at the ranch and help with cattle round-ups, branding and ranch chores, or just relax and enjoy horseback riding and the outdoors.
ATV enthusiasts flock to Little Sahara State Park near Waynoka where they can fly over dunes that stretch across 1,600 acres and are up to 75 feet tall.
