Antique windmills that watered the plains of Oklahoma during the pioneer and territorial days are on display at the Shattuck Windmill Museum and Park in northwestern Oklahoma.
The historic Poncan Theatre stands as a monument to the days of Vaudeville and movie palaces. Black Mesa State Park & Nature Preserve features interesting rock formations, wide open skies and an abundance of wildlife native to this ecoregion.  Located in northwestern tip of the Oklahoma panhandle, this area is home to the state's highest point atop Black Mesa and a marker denotes the point at which Oklahoma, Colorado and New Mexico borders meet.
The Kingfisher in Lights drive-through display features more than 2 million twinkling lights in over 80 displays including the lighted historic swinging bridge from 1903.  Take a horse-drawn carriage ride through the park while children enjoy the miniature train ride.
Play a round on Oklahoma's only canyon-style golf course at Roman Nose State Park.  This 18-hole, par 70 course features sloping bent grass greens, Bermuda grass tees, lake views, canyon walls and mesas.
