The Heartland Flyer takes off from a depot in Ardmore.  This AMTRAK passenger train carries tourists from Oklahoma City to Fort Worth, TX.  Stops along the way include Norman, Pauls Valley and Ardmore.

From the scenic turnout on I-35 just south of Turner Falls near Davis, you can take in breathtaking views from on top of the ancient Arbuckle Mountains.
The Love County courthouse in Marietta was the first one built after statehood in 1907.
This spring-fed fountain greets visitors to the Chickasaw National Recreation Area in Sulphur.  The springs that feed the park's streams have various minerals that brought generations flocking to the location for the water's reported medicinal properties.
Turner Falls Park in Davis is a gorgeous setting in which to enjoy the outdoors.  This oasis is located just off I-35 in southcentral Oklahoma.  The whole family will enjoy the 77-foot cascades, as well as natural swimming holes, trails and camping in the park.
The Blue River in Tishomingo is a beautiful spring-fed and unspoiled river featuring several waterfalls.  Camping is available in the Blue River Campground and a trout season from November through March attracts fisherman from all over the region.
Adventurous hikers can explore a cave in the side of the cliff just above the cascade at Turner Falls.
