The Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center features historic artifacts and exhibits, some dating from 1540. These artifacts and exhibits detail the settlement and development resulting from the 1893 Cherokee Strip Land Run and other Oklahoma events. The museum is located adjacent to the Humphrey Heritage Village, a park-like display of several historic buildings, located on the west side of Enid's historic Government Springs Park. The Village features four historically significant structures including the original 1893 Land Office where those making the land run would have come to file their claims, a 1910 one-room school, a 1910 church and the Victorian style Glidewell House. Self-guided tours are available as well as a short video highlighting the 1893 Land Run.
