Visiting With The Modern Cowboy
Hub & Spoke Tour (5 days - 4 nights)
Guymon, Oklahoma

The modern cowboy still wears his chaps, spurs, hat and boots. He still saddles his horse and knows the good saddle maker from the bad. His belt buckle might be from winning a ranch rodeo championship or a roping. He goes to the arena in the evenings with his kids and friends and they practice.

On this tour meet the sale barn cowboy, the feedlot cowboy, the rodeo cowboy (a world champion saddle bronc rider) and horse trainer. See cowboys in age-old regalia punching the buttons on a computer with the medicines and feed ration for his cattle. Talk to the cowboys who ride a tractor one-day, and then a horse on the next. It's a chance to see the cowboy at work today.
