Wooden Nickel Tour


Upon arrival all guests will receive a bag of wooden nickels which will grant entry to all stops on the tour.

Day 1
12 noon - Choctaw Casino
Lunch, free play card, & souvenir
4:30 pm depart
5:00 pm Red Carpet Reception at Days Inn & Suites
6:00 pm depart hotel for wine tasting at Black Sheep Winery
7:00 pm catch the STAGECOACH for chuck wagon supper
8:30 pm return to hotel

Day 2
8:00 am breakfast at hotel or on your own
8:45 am depart
9:30 am Peter Conser Home (built in 1884 by leader of the lighthorsemen - the choctaw law enforcement agency.)The home is furnished from the period with a historical barn.
10:45 am depart
11:00 am Heavener Ruenstone State Park home of a 12-foot high granite slab with mysterious letters thought to be the work of Vikings before 900 A.D. - Hiking trails, picnic facilities, gift shop, playground, restrooms, & a breathtaking view from the top of Poteau Mountain.
12:00 noon picnic lunch at Heavener Ruenstone Park
1:30 pm depart
2:00 Kerr Center for Sustainable Agriculture
5:00 pm depart
6:00 pm evening meal
7:30 pm return to hotel
