The holiday season is just around the corner. Christmas is about sharing good times with friends and family so bring the
loved ones along on this holiday outing to Muskogee, Oklahoma. What better way to jump start the season than by
paying a visit to some of our favorite Oklahoma destinations.
The coach will be leaving mid afternoon for an included early dinner at the home of Mrs. Fannie Miller in Mazie.
Everyone knows that Mrs. Miller sets a table laden with delectable homemade from scratch meals topped off with melt in
your mouth pie. This stop alone is worth the price of the trip. Then back on the coach to continue the journey to
Muskogee.
Among the many things to see and do in Muskogee is to visit
Honor Heights Park, one of the oldest and most celebrated
public parks in the Southwest. During the Christmas season,
the park is transformed into a winter wonderland for the
Garden of Lights Festival. The celebration includes a one-mile
drive-through display of more than one million shimmering
lights strung throughout the park. Displays include a giant
entrance tunnel of lights and animated creatures depicting the
wildlife seen in the park. Sit back, relax and enjoy the ride
through this dazzling display. But the fun does not end here.
The coach is bound for Muskogee’s Christmas Kingdom at
the Castle. The coach will drive through the amazing display
of over 1000 Christmas inflatables ranging from 4 feet to a massive 20 feet tall. All your favorite Christmas characters
are on display including Santa, elves, snowmen, reindeer, penguins, polar bears, Rudolph, Pooh & Tiger, The Grinch,
Frosty, snow globes and many more. A stop will allow you to enter the Castle to enjoy more Christmas magic in the
Christmas Garden Room, gift shop and area where local artisans offer wonderful handmade gifts. What fun! Won’t you
