The charming small town of Hennessey sits alongside the historic Chisholm Trail and welcomes visitors with a variety of historic sites, lodging, restaurants, specialty shops and recreation. Stop by Bull Foot Station, a supply point noted for its water well used by drovers on the trail and marvel at the unique cattle drive statue. Hennessey is also home to the Sam & Burla Snyder Memorial History Center, which chronicles the exciting story of the settlement and development of north-central Oklahoma.

Sample local vino at the Vernost Wine Co., a small batch winery and bar that hosts live local music, or stroll around the historic downtown where you’ll find Prairie Quilt, Oklahoma’s largest quilt shop.
