Here are some of the ways Oklahoma State Parks are rising to meet this challenge:

  1. Hiking trails, picnic tables, fishing areas and boat ramps are available for outdoor recreation. Please remember to practice safe social distancing, even when outdoors.

  2. The number of open public restrooms in each state park has been reduced to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. A restroom will remain open for day users but is limited in every state park. Directions to open restrooms will be provided.

  3. RV campsites can be reserved through our online reservation system, rv.okparks.com or on the park page on TravelOK.com. RV campers must hold waste in vehicle tanks, then dispose of waste in the state park dump station if you are not in a full hook-up site. Tent campsites are limited or temporarily unavailable in every state park. The online reservation system will list the open tent campgrounds.

  4. All playgrounds in the state parks are closed to the public. Please do not cross safety lines in place around playground equipment.

  5. Large group gatherings are not allowed, and restrictions are in place in the state parks to limit group sizes to 10 persons or less.

  6. Cabins are available for online reservation but are subject to limitations based on availability. Pots, pans, plates, glasses and cooking/eating utensils have been removed from the cabins. Guests must bring all cookware and paper plates/plastic ware and drinking cups.

  7. All group camps and community buildings are closed to large group gatherings.

  8. All lodges are and will remain closed through April 15.  This may be extended based on new Health Department information as we go forward.
