Nature lovers and fans of biology unite at BioBlitz, an annual inventory of Oklahoma's biodiversity. Held at Roman Nose State Park in Watonga, expert biologists and citizen scientists congregate to count as many species as possible. This event is hosted by the Oklahoma Biological Survey and encourages participants to count as many species as possible in a 24-hour period. This hands-on approach to science provides a learning experience like no other for all ages.

Registration for BioBlitz includes two nights of tent camping at Roman Nose State Park, an event T-shirt, snacks on Friday night and a light breakfast Saturday morning. Participants in BioBlitz should bring camping equipment, clothing for guided nature walks, personal items and equipment to observe, collect and identify organisms.
