Hugo Lake, located on the Kiamichi River, offers quiet, wooded campgrounds with plenty of elbow room, public hunting grounds and excellent fishing opportunities. The lake features several beautiful sandy swimming beaches in Kiamichi Park, Wilson Point day use area and Group Camp.
Miles of paved park roadways are ideal for hiking, jogging, cycling, mountain biking and horseback riding. Horses are not available to rent, so visitors must bring their own mounts. Rattan Landing offers great river access and a variety of fish species can be found in Hugo Lake including sand bass, crappie and catfish.
The lake area offers excellent hunting opportunities with over 25,000 acres of land available to the hunter. Kiamichi Park contains an archery practice range and a 3,000-acre Quality Deer Management Area.
