Ole Red Tishomingo
Travel to small town Tishomingo for a big dose of country at Blake Shelton’s Ole Red Tishomingo, a restaurant, live music venue and retail space. Inspired by Blake Shelton’s No. 1 hit “Ol’ Red,” visitors are invited to paint the town red seven days a week while enjoying delicious food, great music and must-have souvenirs. Created by Shelton to promote local business in his hometown, Ole Red Tishomingo has become a tourist destination welcoming old and new friends from across the globe.
Begin with one of the restaurant’s signature appetizers like fried pickled jalapeno poppers, smoked chicken wings or brisket and bison chili. For your main entree, select salads, burgers or meat platters. The Good Ole Onion Burger combines Angus beef with sweet onions, cheddar cheese, pickles, lettuce and tomato on a brioche bun, while the Nashville hot chicken & waffles serves comes with maple reduction, fluffy Belgian waffle and spicy hot chicken. A tender prime rib with horseradish sauce and beer demi-glaze is also available on Friday and Saturday nights. Save room for dessert with fresh fruit pies, bourbon pecan pie, charms marshmallow cookies or house-made waffle pudding.
When it’s time for some good tunes, Blake Shelton’s got you covered. Live music is nearly always on tap, and Blake Shelton himself has also been known to make a special appearance. The Doghouse at Ole Red Tishomingo features Thursday Night Jams, live concerts on Friday and a “Shindig” dance party every Saturday Night. The Doghouse is also available for private events. Commemorate your trip with some Ole Red merchandise, including t-shirts, hoodies, mugs, tote bags and more.
