The Norman Philharmonic showcases a wide range of classical and contemporary orchestral music and provides audiences with enriching musical experiences. Led by Music and Artistic Director Richard Zielinski, the Norman Philharmonic commissions new works from American composers while reviving staples in classical music.

Since 2009, Norman Philharmonic has regularly collaborated with existing music festivals, the OU Arts district and the Sooner Theater, with concerts taking place at different Norman locations like Legacy Park, OU's Catlett Music Center and Reynolds Performing Arts Center.
