The Charley Young Event Park in Bixby officially reopened in 2017, adding an event venue, updated pavilion, upgraded playground equipment, new fountain and a splash pad to the park. Since 1908, the Bixby community has gathered here, whether enjoying a stroll past pecan trees or attending a cake walk. Today, come by the Charley Young Event Park to enjoy a concert by local talent, walk along the sidewalk or attend an annual event held at this local hub. Guests can also pay respects at the World War II memorial and take in the beautifully landscaped grounds.
