Located in the heart of Oklahoma City, the Ronald J. Norick Downtown Library has a wealth of genealogical information. Delve into your family's past with the library's resources, which include historical Oklahoma City directories and telephone books, a collection of local college and high school yearbooks, and books on Oklahoma that pre-date statehood.

The Ronald J. Norick Downtown Library also has a microfilm collection of the "Daily Oklahoman" newspaper from the paper's inception to present, as well as the "Los Angeles Times" from 1881-1987 and the "New York Times" from 1851-2007. Additional resources include Oklahoma pictures and essays that illustrate central Oklahoma's history, Sanborn Maps and oral histories of central Oklahoma. Roughly 35 computers are available for library patrons and the library provides complimentary membership to Ancestry.com, Fold3 and Heritage Quest.
