In 2012, employee and artist Jeremiah Lovato painted an expansive mural on the walls of Hunter’s Battery Warehouse in Oklahoma City. This Hispanic Heritage mural honors the Hispanic heritage of neighboring Oklahoma City residents, as depicted in the religious symbols and historical elements of this painting. Lovato included a stained glass Stations of the Cross section, a rosary, praying hands and the Virgin Mary as a nod to the Catholic faith of the many Hispanic residents now living in Oklahoma City. Lovato also painted positive elements to give back to the Hispanic community, including a farmer cultivating crops, an old-time gangster, a Senorita with roses and the Aztec sun and temple.
