In 1989, Oklahoma City-based artist Bill Firquain recreated the legendary 1490 Prague Town Hall clock on the walls of Oklahoma Czechs Inc. in Yukon to help distinguish the building from Yukon Czech Hall. Firquain painted Prague and its domes and towers as they appear in a picture of the Czech Republic capital. This Czech mural helps the Yukon, Oklahoma Czech population celebrate their heritage.
