The Oklahoma Highland Gathering Festival is a celebration of Scottish and Irish culture. Head to Joe B Barnes Regional Park in Midwest City to watch sheep herding, eat fish and chips, shop Celtic wares, tap your feet in time to a reel, watch a kilted dancer and, most of all, have a good time. Throughout the weekend attendees can enjoy a taste of Scotland and other Celtic nations through many available activities and entertainers, including Celtic dance, roving pipe bands, Celtic bands, traditional Celtic food, Celtic-themed vendors, kid crafts and games, genealogy research, clan tents, crofters' village, Viking demonstrations and a whisky tasting.
