See Route 66 light up before your eyes at the Cyrus Avery Plaza Southwest in Tulsa. Comprised of three vibrant neon signs, this park is a tribute to the city's unique Route 66 history. These 20-foot-tall replica signs represent past eras of the Mother Road: the Tulsa Auto Court, the Will Rogers Motor Court and the Oil Capital Motel. Although they were once lost to time, these signs now glow near the bank of the Arkansas River to remind travelers what Route 66 was - and still is - to generations of Americans. This park is also on the Tulsa River Parks trail network.
