Día del Niño
Bring the kids out for the annual SW 29th Street Día del Niño, or Children's Day, in Oklahoma City. This fun-filled family event includes interactive activities and pavilions celebrating art, technology, science, sports, music, fashion, nutrition, fitness and more. Gather around the corner of Western Ave and SW 29th St to watch a parade down 29th St and enjoy incredible cultural performances from local dance groups. After the parade, enjoy authentic cuisine, live music and giveaways then watch the “Reyes de la 29” contest where a boy and girl will be crowned king and queen of the district. The Día del Niño festival is the perfect opportunity for families to get outdoors and celebrate Oklahoma City’s rich Hispanic heritage.
