The Eufaula Area Museum features artifacts, art and memorabilia from the area surrounding Lake Eufaula. Learn about the founding of the town of Eufaula through artifacts and photos featured in the "Main Street Memories" exhibit. A model railroad is the centerpiece of the "Rails and Roads" exhibit, which illustrates how the development of the railroad affected the growth of the town.

The museum also includes an exhibit on the surrounding native nations featuring artifacts and artwork from the Cherokee Nation, Choctaw Nation and Muscogee Creek Nation. Discover the history of these three tribes and their connection to the town of Eufaula through educational displays and art.

In addition to its permanent collections, the Eufaula Area Museum also includes a rotating exhibit that changes semi-annually to showcase a unique aspect of the town's history. Visitors are sure to discover something new about Eufaula whether they are repeat or first-time guests.
