Muskogee Civic Center hosts countless entertaining acts each season, treating locals to big acts and family-friendly shows. Kids are sure to love the circus when it comes through town, while music fans can catch a tribute band or witness an Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame induction. Agricultural competitions also come through this Muskogee performing arts venue, as well as intense, action-packed sporting events. This historic Oklahoma venue also lays claim to Merle Haggard fame. It was here in the bathroom that Merle and Roy Eddie Burris recorded the demo for "Okie from Muskogee."
