Travel to the Film Row District and walk the same city streets that once connected three film exchange buildings housing nitrate-based cellulose film. Starting in 1907, popular Hollywood movie studios like Paramount, MGM and Universal stored and shipped film across the region, and eventually, theater businesses boomed in this Oklahoma City district. Coffee shops opened to grant industry insiders a place to swap stories, and screening rooms appeared to provide exhibitors a place to prescreen films.

Today, Film Row retains its Art Deco style, and in 2006, it earned its official district designation. Creative businesses thrive in the area, and the Paramount continues the film tradition with movie showings, as well as comedy performances and live music. Guests can gather over sweet & savory tarts at Okay Yeah Co. or grab a slice of pizza at Joey's Pizzeria. Explore multimodal venues and art galleries like the Jones Assembly and 21C Museum Hotel before admiring murals peppered throughout the Film Row District.
