Experience over 9,000-sq-ft of Cherokee art, culture and history when visiting the Cherokee Nation Anna Mitchell Cultural & Welcome Center near Vinita. This beautiful two-story center, located off I-44 and Route 66, honors the late Anna Mitchell – a Cherokee National Treasure and influential artist who focused on Southeastern and Eastern Woodlands-style Native American pottery. Wander throughout the on-site exhibits to enjoy creations by Cherokee ceramicists, as well as indoor and outdoor art installations like "The Vessel."
