Stop 1: Patti Page Boulevard

Patti Page’s hometown honored her by renaming a section of E 2nd Street in Claremore Patti Page Boulevard. Patti once said, “You know I have been honored all over the world for my singing. I was always surprised when anyone honored me with some award or acknowledgment. But it wasn’t until the first time I was honored by my home state in 1969 when a street was named after me in Claremore that I was overcome with pure joy!”

Stop 2: The Campbell Hotel

This luxury, boutique hotel honors Patti Page with a room completely dedicated to the award-winning singer. The décor is themed after her single “Mockin’ Bird Hill” and is bathed in relaxing shades of blue and yellow.

Stop 3: KTUL Radio

Patti Page started her professional singing career on KTUL, a local radio station in Tulsa that broadcasted from the top floor of the National Bank building. Patti famously landed her first gig there after one of the lead singers came down with laryngitis, creating the perfect opportunity for Patti to step in and become a star. While KTUL is no longer there, you can still snap a photo of the beautiful National Bank building, the first modern high-rise built in Tulsa.
