Camp McFadden, located on the west shore of Kaw Lake, is a recreation camp that is open for reservations and day use visitors. Located approximately 10 miles east of Ponca City, Camp McFadden has a variety of amenities, events and programs on its 250 acres that can suit any and all who wish to come and visit. Guests have their choice of six air conditioned cabins, two handicapped accessible cabins, RV and tent camping and more. The handicapped accessible cabins include bathrooms in each. In addition, a lodge with kitchen facilities is available as a meeting space. Guests may also rent the entire camp out for a discounted price.
Camp McFadden also offers archery, hiking trails, canoeing, fishing and other such amenities. Along with these great activities, the camp also hosts a ropes course for groups with a minimum number of 10 participants who wish to grow as a group and become a more coherent group or team. Camp McFadden also hosts a variety of programs for the family and individual throughout the year. These programs include a resident summer camp for kids ages 6-18, a July 4th family night, an outdoor expo, art programs, workshops and family weekends. Camp McFadden's goal is to provide a fun, educational, uplifting, relaxed outdoor experience for all who come.
