The Cherokee Strip Museum & Rose Hill School collects, preserves and interprets history of the Cherokee Outlet area of northern Oklahoma, with an emphasis on rural life and rural communities. Located in the town of Perry, this historic site offers a look at life during Oklahoma's early days.

Experience pioneer history with interactive exhibits on family life, along with a general store, kitchen, dress shop and doctors' offices. The blacksmith shop includes a display area with restrooms and a live demonstration area. Farm implements are also on display in a separate building. The Rose Hill School is also located on the museum grounds. This one-room schoolhouse hosts engaging living history programs for school children.

After your tour through the museum and schoolhouse, take a break with lunch at the picnic areas, or walk on the site's scenic nature trails.
