The McSwain Theatre & Art Gallery, Ada's crown jewel of entertainment, was built in the 1920s as a home for silent films and Vaudeville acts. Restored in 2009, the historic McSwain Theatre is considered a magnificent family destination open to music fans of all ages. Come enjoy music from all genres including country, rock, gospel, oldies and more as regional stars light up the stage of the McSwain once again. This theater is also equipped to host stage plays, movies, stand-up comedy, special events and more.
Located on the second floor of the McSwain Theatre, the art gallery at the McSwain Theatre was established in 2009 by the Chickasaw Nation to showcase artists from all over the world. The McSwain Theatre's art gallery is a venue for special exhibitions of some of the finest work from both new and established artists.
