In September, Guthrie's Lazy E Arena will be transformed into Oklahoma's largest indoor and outdoor recreation event. Come to the Oklahoma Wildlife Expo, which attracts more than 50,000 people from across Oklahoma and neighboring states, and enjoy plenty of indoor and outdoor fun. Presented by the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation and a coalition of conservation organizations, agencies and sponsors, the Oklahoma Wildlife Expo celebrates Oklahoma's impressive natural diversity and presents opportunities for sporting enthusiasts.

This event is a free, hands-on, interactive expo of exhibits, seminars, clinics, workshops and demonstrations centered on wildlife and outdoor activities. Visitors can fish, shoot, kayak, mountain bike, see and touch wildlife and learn about recreation in the great Oklahoma outdoors, among other things.

Explore the expo's Outdoor Marketplace, a large tent and open-air area where vendors will be selling their hunting and fishing-related merchandise, services and memberships to outdoor organizations. The Outdoor Marketplace is certain to be a hit with expo visitors with 8,000 square feet of exhibit space and plenty of door prizes.

Work up an appetite by trying a number of outdoor activities for the first time at the Oklahoma Wildlife Expo. Learn to ride a four-wheeler, shoot a bow and arrow, throw a spear or cast a fly-fishing rod. After an afternoon of activities, enjoy food items such as fried catfish, venison jerky or bison chili from food vendors set up at the expo. This event is also family friendly. Bring the kids and watch them climb rock walls, ride mountain bikes, paddle kayaks, catch fish and more. Don't miss the opportunity to participate in the biggest display of outdoor-related activities around. Come to the Oklahoma Wildlife Expo and prepare yourself for a fantastic time in the great outdoors.
