Open the door, and step back in time to that first Christmas. This event is held in a heated Amish barn and silo at an authentic working farm. Live character portrayals include Mary, Joseph, the shepherds, the wise men and angels. The stable will be filled with live animals, and there is an opportunity to interact with them. Activities will include a children's arts & crafts project, hot apple cider, cookies, Christmas pretzels and mints, nativity dramatic story tellers and musicians, and a Christmas coloring contest. Other activities include a Christmas Hayride. Come "Journey with the Shepherds" in the sheep pasture as they reenact the journey to see the Christ child (narrated Christmas story from the shepherd's perspective). $5 per person 1 & under are free with a paid adult (cancelled in inclement weather). Learn how to needle felt a wool Christmas ornament ($2.50 per person), or learn how to make your own farm fresh evergreen wreath. This great family project is $10 per wreath.
