Head to Newcastle this October, just south of the OKC metro for the Great Pumpkin Fest at TG Farms. This one day event features fun for the whole family including a pumpkin patch filled with pumpkins, arts and crafts booths, tons of games, contests and entertainment. There will be Halloween costume contests for pets and owners, pig races and more. Get lost in the maze, play on the giant hay slide or take a hay ride around the farm. Children will also love the on-site petting zoo with friendly animals. Head to the general store to stock up on fall decorations like gourds, corn stalks, straw bales, decorative corn and, of course, pumpkins. After you've worked up an appetite, visit the on-site food trucks to enjoy tasty food you can't find anywhere else.
