Located south of Weatherford, Lake Crowder offers 158 surface acres of water for recreational use. This lake has been designated a Trophy Bass Lake, and provides fishing opportunities for game fish including crappie, saugeye, bluegill and channel catfish. Black bass are catch-and-release only. Canoes, paddleboards and sailboats are available to the public, and swimming and scuba diving are permitted in the lake.
On the east shores of the lake, Crowder Lake University Park offers RV campsites with full hookups, tent campsites with picnic tables and grills and handicap-accessible bathrooms with shower facilities. A mile-long, handicap-accessible nature trail winds through the park, and is open for walking and biking.
