Festival of Lights Christmas Parade
Enjoy one of the state's oldest and biggest nighttime holiday events during the Festival of Lights in Sand Springs. Throughout November and December, Sand Springs will host a number of festivities for all ages. The fun kicks off on November 13 with holiday shopping specials across town. On December 1, attend the Candlelight Sing-Along & Tree Lighting in Charles Page Triangle Park.
From December 1-11, participate in the Dashing Through Sand Springs Scavenger Hunt for prizes and plenty of excitement. Stop by the Art of Giving Christmas Tree Display from December 1-31 and enjoy beautiful holiday lights.
On December 3, watch more than 100 holiday-themed entries including lighted holiday displays, decorated floats and marching bands during the Festival of Lights Parade. All ages will be delighted by this festive holiday event, with a special appearance by Santa Claus himself. Spend the evening shopping, taking family photos around the quaint downtown serenaded by Christmas carols. Local vendors and food trucks will be on-site for the festivities.
The fun continues on December 4 with a production of Scrooge's Christmas at the Sand Springs Public School Auditorium. Attend the Joy of Giving Festival on December 11 at the Sand Springs Cultural & Historical Museum, or stop by the Wreath Laying Ceremony & Vigil on December 21 at Charles Page Triangle Park. Festival of Lights wraps up on December 31 with the New Year's Eve Children's Balloon Drop at the Sand Springs Cultural & Historical Museum.
