The National Reining Horse Association (NRHA), with its international headquarters in Oklahoma City, presents one of the fastest growing equestrian disciplines in the world during the NRHA Futurity Championship Show. One of the most elite reining events in the world, nearly 3,000 entries from more than 20 countries competing in all classes in front of approximately 125,000 spectators in Oklahoma City.

Reining is a judged event designed to show the athletic ability of a ranch-type horse within the confines of a show arena. In NRHA competition, contestants are required to run a pre-selected, approved pattern, included in the NRHA Handbook. Each pattern includes small slow circles, large fast circles, flying lead changes, roll backs over the hocks, 360-degree spins done in place, and exciting sliding stops that are the hallmark of the reining horse.

Come to this stellar equestrian event to witness as more than 700 three-year-old horses ride for their chance to win $150,000 in total championship earnings, with a total purse and prizes totaling nearly $2.3 million to exhibitors. This event will also include three special reining horse sales, the FEI World Reining Masters, the Celebrity Reining benefit, invitational freestyle reining, an intercollegiate judging contest, a horsemanship clinic and a trade show featuring everything from Western clothing and home decor, to gifts and equine supplies.
