Bring the family and join the residents of Poteau for an evening of fun, food and fireworks. Celebrate America is an Independence Day celebration featuring games and activities for the whole family, live music, face painting, prizes and a huge, city-sponsored fireworks display. Expect downtown to be filled with huge water slides free for kids of all ages. Enjoy live music and dancing, as well. Hamburgers, hot dogs, funnel cakes and cotton candy will all be available for purchase at Celebrate America. Bring your lawn chairs and be prepared to stay until after dark when the sky will light up with a spectacular fireworks display. Beautiful fireworks will explode above the city while patriotic music plays in the background.
