Gentry Creek Hunting & Fishing Camp near Council Hill offers a great getaway for the outdoor enthusiast. Guests will have complete privacy surrounded by 38 acres on beautiful Lake Eufaula. Two ponds fully stocked with catfish and hybrid blue gill are available for fishing. Guests can also take advantage of lakeside fishing on a quarter-mile stretch of private land.
Enjoy dove, duck, goose and deer hunting at Gentry Creek Hunting & Fishing Camp, or take advantage of a guided fishing or hunting excursion. Enjoy the most fantastic sunsets over the lake from the covered porch. Explore the land as it has several tepee mounds on it from hundreds of years ago when the Creek Indians used them to stay above the water in the rainey seasons. Emerald creek runs through the area where the campsites were. The original foundation for the homestead house from the 1800's is still right behind the cabin.
The sleeping arrangements at Gentry Creek Hunting & Fishing Camp include one cabin with three bunk beds, a full bed and king bed. A big screen HDTV with DVD player is available. All bedding is provided, and the kitchen comes fully supplied with utensils, refrigerator, oven, microwave, coffee maker, charcoal grill and smoker. A washer and dryer is also on-site for your convenience. The cabin has central heat and air, as well as a gas stove, so your stay at Gentry Creek Hunting & Fishing Camp is sure to be comfortable no matter the season.
