Choctaw's Frontier Day Festival celebrates the early history of Choctaw's Settlement, which stands as the oldest chartered city in Oklahoma. Planned activities at this educational festival, specifically tailored to school children, include historical presentations, re-enactors, pioneer crafts, cowboy and cavalry encampments, a jailhouse, mock gun fights, old-fashioned games and much more. Bring the kids to Choctaw's Frontier Day Festival and enjoy American Indian fancy dancers, traditional cowboy camps and gun fights that depict the lifestyle of the late 1800s.
