Visit Tishomingo for the annual Johnston County Red, White & Boom Celebration, packed with festivities including a parade with floats competing for the Yankee Doodle Dandy Traveling Trophy. Guests can join the celebration starting on Friday with a ribbon cutting for the Tishomingo Ice House, a fireworks display set to patriotic music at the Tishomingo High School football stadium and a street dance that will last until midnight. On Saturday, start the day with a parade then make your way to Pennington Creek Park to enjoy water slides, a hot dog eating contest, vendor booths, concessions, games and more.

Friday, July 1:
Tishomingo Ice House ribbon cutting: 4:30pm.
Fireworks: 9:15pm at the Tishomingo High School football stadium.
Following the fireworks, there will be a street dance between Kemp and Neshoba Streets until midnight.

Saturday, July 2:
Parade: 10am.
Activities at Pennington Creek Park start at 11am.
