Step back in time at A Territorial Christmas Celebration in Guthrie with a live theatre production, historic home tours, live performances and so much more. Kick off the holiday season by attending a performance of the Pollard Theatre presentation of "It's a Wonderful Life. A Live Radio Play." This beloved American holiday classic comes to captivating life as a live 1940s radio broadcast.
Watch as decorated floats covered in lights make their way through downtown, spreading joy and cheer along the way in the Guthrie Christmas Parade and wave to Santa Claus as he rides by. At the post office, the new Territorial Governor will be announced.
During Guthrie's Victorian Walk Evenings visitors to A Territorial Christmas Celebration will step back into the Victorian era with carolers in early-1900s dress and decorated store windows complete with re-enactors depicting Victorian-era Guthrie. Pick up some tasty treats from peanut vendors lining the downtown streets.
Other activities scheduled for A Territorial Christmas Celebration include the Historic Homes Tour, featuring homes decorated in the style of the early 20th century.
