One of the oldest PRCA rodeos in Oklahoma, the Woodward Elks Rodeo is often dubbed the toughest rodeo in Oklahoma. Since the first Woodward Elks Rodeo in 1929, this event has grown each year and now welcomes national rodeo legends to the arena field for action-packed rodeo competition. This much-anticipated rodeo features everything from bareback riding to barrel racing. Cheer on the competitors as they compete in bull riding, calf roping, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, team roping, steer roping and bull fights. Don't miss the musical chair race on horseback or motorcycle barrel racing held each night of the event.

The Woodward Elks Rodeo also features children's activities, stagecoach rides and more. Come to Woodward and keep the Old West alive by joining the hundreds of people that line the streets of Woodward to see the annual longhorn cattle drive through the streets of downtown.  Bring your camera and the family to see a page out of history as these magnificent beasts make their way from the Chain Ranch to the Crystal Beach Rodeo Arena. It is a sight you won't want to miss.  Also, on Saturday at 10am, make your way to Main Street for a parade filled with amusing entrants and decorated floats.

This rodeo also features the popular Oklahoma State Championship Chuckwagon Cook-Off. Secure your spot in line and prepare to feast on a mouthwatering meal prepared as it was by cattle drive cooks of yesteryear. Visitors to the Woodward Elks Rodeo will enjoy the delicious aroma of chicken fried steak, freshly made bread and warm potatoes throughout the entire rodeo arena. Come to this annual rodeo and also enjoy a hamburger feed and free barbecue with the purchase of a rodeo ticket. The Woodward Elks Rodeo will also feature three dances and plenty of live entertainment. Make your way to Woodward for this annual rodeo and witness as the Old West comes alive.
