Mother Road Chili Cook-Off
Enter your best recipe or be a taste-tester at the Mother Road Chili Cook-Off in downtown Stroud. Participants will cook the chili off-site, then bring it to the event to be evaluated by a panel of judges and tasted by the public. Judging will be divided into three divisions: chili with beans, chili without beans and non-traditional chili, which is any chili that is not the traditional red variety.
Registration and chili camp setup will be from 10am-12pm, with public tasting and judging from 12-3pm. Trophies and cash prizes for all three categories as well as overall champion, people's choice and best-decorated chili camp will be awarded. Tasting kits for voting for people's choice are available. During the Mother Road Chili Cook-Off, visitors can also enjoy live music throughout the day and admire the vehicles in the motorcycle or car show.
