Tonkawa Fourth of July Celebration
Enjoy an old-fashioned Independence Day at this year's Fourth of July Celebration in Tonkawa. There will be various activities in town all day, starting in the morning with the Mr. Muscles & Miss Tiny Tot Pageant followed by the best decorated bike, trike or ATV contest. At high noon, line up on 4th and Grand Ave to watch the parade sail through the street. Gather up your crew and get ready for more fun all afternoon at Blinn Park. Enjoy some friendly competition as you participate in the horseshoe tournament, stick horse races, or cheer on your favorite turtle at the turtle race. At dusk, settle in on a lawn chair or blanket and turn your eyes to the sky as the day concludes with a brilliant fireworks display.
