Tonkawa Fourth of July Celebration
Jul 04, 2018
Enjoy an old-fashioned Independence Day at this year's Fourth of July Celebration in Tonkawa. The celebration kicks off bright and early with a pancake breakfast served up by the Masons followed by the mid-morning Harvest Walk at Heart in the Park Labyrinth. After this busy morning, line up on the downtown sidewalks and enjoy a parade at high noon, followed by a bicycle and ATV contest, as well as the Duck Derby. Games for adults and children like horseshoe throwing, turtle racing and coin digging will be available, too. The municipal pool is open for free swim from 1-4pm, and the celebration will close out with a giant fireworks display at dusk.
