Located in the Oklahoma City metro area, Oklahoma Community Orchestra presents several top-notch concerts throughout the year.  Performances are held at Oklahoma Christian University in Edmond. The 75-person Oklahoma Community Orchestra was created in 1984 to promote and improve the performing arts scene of the Oklahoma City community. Approximately four to six shows are held each year, and past shows have included pieces from "The Nutcracker" as well as performances by special guests.  The Oklahoma Community Orchestra serves as the orchestra-in-residence at Oklahoma Christian University.  Although most performances are at Oklahoma Christian University, the Oklahoma Community Orchestra performs at least one concert at other venues within the greater Oklahoma City area.
