Labor Day weekend in Fairview means the sound of engines, the smell of rubber and the sight of stylish cars at the Gloss Mountain Cruisers Car Show & Cruise. Downtown Fairview will be blocked off for motorcycles and cars of every shape, size, make, model and color. Car lovers spend the day chatting about their favorite aspects of each automobile and take pictures of the cars on display. The stores will remain open on Main Street for shopping, food and drinks. The day also includes activities such as the burnout contest, balloon race and competition for loudest exhaust.
