The Norman Music Festival features over 100 bands on multiple stages, featuring everything from indie pop to classic folk rock. This free festival will take place on the 100, 200 and 300 blocks of historic Downtown E. Main Street, east of the railroad tracks in the Downtown Norman Arts District.

Entertainment on Thursday night and Friday night will predominantly be held at indoor locations, while Saturday will feature the full-blown festival atmosphere complete with street closures and large outdoor stages. Rock and roll, country, hip hop, funk, Latin and electronica will be among the many genres represented. 

On Saturday night, enjoy up-and-coming bands perform jam sessions and veteran musical groups reassemble for a night of lively music. Join thousands of music-lovers on Main Street listening to bands on large main stages and intimate local venues. Don't miss live performances at The Opolis, a venue known for its punk and alt rock shows. Beyond music, poetry slams, a spoken word stage and stand-up comedy will also be included throughout the festival.

If you're in the shopping mood, browse through booths filled with jewelry, clothing and home decor. The Dustbowl Arts Market has partnered with the Norman Music Festival to create an open-air market in downtown Norman, featuring regional arts and vendors dealing handmade crafts and goods. 

The festivities at the Norman Music Festival offer something for everyone. Children will enjoy the Little Rocker Stage as they jam out to musical acts while being able to get a rock star hairdo or create their own art.
