The Philbrook Museum of Art hosts the Philbrook Festival each winter, an annual holiday tradition in Tulsa. Experience this six-week community celebration of the season, and see the museum decked out in festive Christmas decorations, holiday lights reflecting the spirit of the season and exciting winter events.
From the front gate to the back gardens, tens of thousands of lights illuminate the property during the Philbrook Festival. While wandering through the museum interior, guests will witness four decorated trees, with a 15-ft centerpiece tree attracting attention in the Rotunda entrance, located beneath a glimmering installation of paper snowflakes. Guests are encouraged to stop and take photos at these strategically placed photo stops along the grounds, gardens and exhibits. Perhaps the main attraction for the kids, the Mezzanine will feature Lego Village, a display of dozens of Lego creations put together by school children and local organizations.
The festive atmosphere reaches its peak during special Festival Nights held throughout the Philbrook Festival, with lights illuminating the gardens. At Festival Nights, local performers will fill the museum with live music, and La Villa restaurant will serve up seasonal eats. Guests can also converge at communal picnic tables and participate in fun-filled, self-guided activities during Festival Nights.
2017 Festival Nights:
