Come celebrate the life of U.S. Deputy Marshal, Bass Reeves. Bass was the first African American marshal in Indian Territory and is steadfastly growing in fame. The conference spotlights his life and beat by telling his story along with other Marshals through lectures, books, movies, re-enactors and comradery. There is even a Bass look-a-like contest. This year's main guest speaker for the 11th annual conference is Vaunda Micheax Nelson.
